Waldkindergarten Lohr: New leadership and exciting projects for 2024!

Lohr, Deutschland - The Waldkindergarten Lohr starts with fresh wind into the new kindergarten year! At an exciting general meeting in the idyllic hut of the kindergarten, decisive course was set for the future. The new board, led by Steffen Bold as the first chairman, is strengthened by the experienced Agnes Loschert as the second director and the competent Vanessa Hecht as treasurer. The outgoing board member Stefanie Wolf and Nadine Longo-Wiesner, who led numerous projects to success with tireless work, was a warm farewell.

"We are very solid economically," emphasizes Steffen Bold. "Our goal is to ensure the excellent care of our children in the unique Spessartwald every day. We want our team and children to experience the best time in the forest." In the kindergarten year 2023/2024, 67 families are already active, including 33 children who experience exciting adventures in the rainbow group and the shooting star group. Under the direction of Susanne Schmitt and Nina Kramer, the team is supported by educators and pedagogical assistants to offer the children eventful days.

For the upcoming kindergarten year 2024/2025, 24 children have already been registered, and the places are in great demand! The forest kindergarten calls interested people to report quickly because the demand is high. There are exciting projects on the plan: A new construction trailer is installed and nesting boxes are attached to combat the oak processionary spinner. In addition, observation of the trees remains a central concern, especially in view of the climatic challenges.
