The construction work extends via the district road MSP 21 to state road 2317 and further to the intersection of Breidensteiner Straße/Lindenbrücke. The aim is to increase traffic safety and improve traffic flow. The measures include a barrier -free sidewalk of at least 1.50 meters width, the renewal of channels and curb as well as the modernization of the drinking water pipe and the mixed water canal. The supply lines for electricity and telekom are also renewed. The construction work should be completed by the end of 2027 at the latest, with the first section that begins in spring 2025.

The construction work is divided into several sections. The first construction phase on Breidensteiner Straße begins with the renewal of the connection to the water pipes and surface water channels, which should be completed by the end of 2024. The second section will start in spring 2025 and last until the end of 2027. A local redirection for both directions is already set up, which leads over Heigenbrücken, the federal road B 26 and the Bischborner Hof.

The costs for these extensive measures amount to around 5.1 million euros, with around 1.8 million euros to be paid to the district of Main-Spessart and 3.3 million euros in the municipality of Neuhütten. 0.9 million euros are estimated for the sidewalks, while 2.4 million euros are planned for the construction of the canal and water pipe. The Free State of Bavaria promotes the project with 50 percent of the granted costs, which underlines the importance of this investment!
