Around 100 citizens were gathered in the Florian-Geyer-Halle on Monday evening to discuss current challenges. A central topic was the planned shopping gallery in the Marshall Heights, whose construction was to begin in spring 2024. But the mood is tense: the OB warned that a failure of the project is not excluded, since the area of an investor is not yet sufficiently secured to guarantee an economic operation. The city does not tolerate branches that could harm the city center, and this provides concern among residents.

The city has applied for funding to pay the costs for play equipment that could increase up to 500,000 euros.
