SV Bedernau: Championship certificate after a curious flood break!

A dramatic football game and a master certificate-that is the exciting history of SV Bedernau! After turbulent days in June, when the flood prevented the decisive championship match day against SV Schlingen, the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) finally provided clarity. Play group leader Polykarp Platzer now presented the master certificate to Florian Dorn, the department head of SV Bedernau, and thus closed the chapter of the misfortune. "Now everything is fine," Dorn beamed after the handover.

A masterpiece on the place

With fresh wind and the title in the back, the SV Bedernau competed against the reserve of SpVgg Kaufbeuren II. And what a spectacle! The hosts immediately took control and netted four times - a real football festival! Jonas Hölzle opened the peat festival in the 15th minute, followed by Thomas Hölzle, who increased in the 20th minute after a failed dribbling of the Keeper Keper to 2: 0. The guests had their chances, but could not exist against the compact defense of the SVB.

After half-time it continued: Sven Hafenmayer increased to 3: 0 with a header, and Fabian Zedelmeier took the lid on it in the 57th minute. But a curious own goal by Manuel Schmid ensured the honorary goal of the Kaufbeurer. Despite this misfortune, SV Bedernau hibernates as a promoted in the upper half of the district class, while SpVgg Kaufbeuren II is stuck in the table cellar. "We are absolutely satisfied with the previous course of the season," summed up coach Salih Yilmaz after the game.
