In a dramatic police operation in Beilngries on November 6, three men aged 41 to 44 were temporarily arrested. These alleged criminals are suspected of not only having stolen a cigarette machine, but also being responsible for a total of 28 other thefts in the Greater Regensburg area. The police acted quickly after a Silver panel van was targeted around half past one near Paulushofen.

When checking the vehicle, the officials discovered a broken cigarette machine on the loading area. The machine should actually be in Beilngries, but the investigators suspect that it is part of a larger theft series. The men, including two Kazakh citizens and a German, were arrested by the forces of the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria North and brought to Regensburg.
