Nika Prevc wins spectacularly at the Two Nights Tour in Oberstdorf!
Oberstdorf, Deutschland - On New Year's Day 2025, Slovenin Nika Prevc set a glamorous exclamation mark in ski jumping by winning the prestigious "Two Nights Tour". Just 24 hours after her triumph in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, she added in Oberstdorf and thus secured the title in the overall ranking with flying colors. That made the sports world listen, because Prevc is not only a talented jumping woman, but also shows a remarkable form that catapults them under the best athletes in the scene, like the Kleine Zeitung reported.
The Austrian jumpers also had their big appearance. Jacqueline Seifriedsberger shone with a strong eighth place and was the best ÖSV jumper in Oberstdorf, followed by Lisa Eder. Eva Pinkelnig, who won the event in this event last year, had to be satisfied with twelfth place this year. In an exciting competition, Prevc referred the Norwegians Anna Odine Ström and Eirin Maria Kvandal to places two and three and thus also secured the overall victory of the tour, while Kvandal achieved the second best overall ranking. This is illustrated by the dominance of Prevc this season, as well as the Krone
The other services of the Austrian athletes were exceptional, even if not all of them could reach the final. Julia Mühlbacher landed in 28th place, while Sara Marita Kramer and Meghann Wadsak jumped in qualifying for the top 30 but just failed. The next competitions in the World Cup will take place in Villach next weekend, where the jumpers will again fight for valuable points. The anticipation is great and the spectators can look forward to breathtaking jumps and exciting competitions!
