Palzing's handball players celebrate gripping home win against Metten!

A gripping duel on the handball field! The handball players of the SVA Palzing prevailed in an exciting match against SSG Metten and thus achieved an important victory in the district league. With a final score of 35:32 (20:20), the Palzingen women showed fighting spirit and determination, which even the strongest opponents can force them to their knees. Coach Peter Mesiarik was enthusiastic about the performance of his players, in particular Sandra Redl, who shines in the middle and scored crucial goals.

The first half was a real thriller! Palzing was in the lead after an early 2-1, but could not keep it. The goalkeepers did not find their way into play, which led to a 20:20 half. But in the second round goalkeeper Sandra Huber turned up and kept some decisive balls. After an exciting 30:30, Palzing settled to 34:30 and thus secured the important points against a strong opponent. The goal scorers for Palzing were Veronika Wöhrl with 10/6, Sandra Redl with 8 and Jazmin Nagy with 6 goals.

In the district league, SC Kirchdorf was able to celebrate a narrow 22:18 victory against SSV Schrobenhausen. Coach Halid Elezovic was satisfied with the result, but criticized the exploitation of opportunities. Kirchdorf was at half time with 10:11 behind, but was able to create the turn in the second round, led by Melanie Knäbl, who scored 10 goals.
