New TLF 4000 consecrated: Hallbergmoos fire brigade starts!

A big day for the Hallbergmoos volunteer fire brigade! The new TLF 4000 tank fire engine was solemnly blessed on Kirchweih Sunday, October 20. Pastor Thomas Gruber did not miss the opportunity to spray plenty of holy water onto the new emergency vehicle, which serves as a replacement for a 34 -year -old model. The celebrations attracted numerous visitors to the fire station in Theresienstrasse, which is urgently waiting for a new building.

After eight years of planning and several rounds of discussions, the new TLF 4000 is finally part of the fleet. The acquisition costs of 580,000 euros are largely borne by the municipality, supported by a grant of 121,000 euros from the government of Upper Bavaria and 60,500 euros from the district. Josef Fischer, the third mayor, emphasized that a new vehicle will "certainly bring new drive in the team". District fire councilor Manfred Danner agreed and emphasized the importance of the new vehicle for the operational readiness of the fire brigade.

The Hallbergmoos fire brigade is now focusing on the urgently needed new construction of the fire station. Mayor candidate Benjamin Henn (Free Voters) and his challenger Stefan Kronner (independently) face November 3 before the runoff election, and the fire brigade demands clear commitments for the new building. Fischer emphasized: "It is a mandatory task of the community to take care of the new fire station." A planned groundbreaking in Goldach could give the starting signal for the planning in Hallbergmoos.

The open house day offered a spectacular program to visitors: from trips with the aerial ladder, which enabled a breathtaking view over Hallbergmoos, to classic car tours and an impressive exercise, in which a rescue from a fire building was demonstrated. The jet wall for the little youngstherds also caused enthusiasm!
