Kreisjugendring Freising: Strong team is planning exciting youth program!
In the district of Freising, despite financial savings measures, an impressive program for the youth is put together! The district youth ring (KJR) made it clear at its autumn general assembly in walls that the promotion of the youth associations remains stable. With a budget of 64,000 euros, numerous exciting events can be realized in the coming year. From exciting excursions to the skyline park to a forest experience day to informative evenings on topics such as being queer and mental health-there is something for everyone here! The focus is also on political education: the KJR is planning an information campaign for first voters for the Bundestag election and is preparing for the 2026 local elections. Workshops on artificial intelligence and climate protection projects are also on the agenda. Deputy managing director Martha Klingel emphasizes the importance of tolerance and democracy and announces the continuation of proven exchange and networking meetings for students: inside. These events should strengthen awareness of human dignity and against discrimination.
New board and fresh faces
Another exciting point of the meeting was the choice of the new board. Ursula Delgado remains at the top, supported by Stephanie Fuß as a deputy. The assessors bring a breath of fresh air: Sebastian Dohmen, Wendelin Hege and many more are ready to drive youth work in the district. New members for the youth district council were also elected, which are represented by the interests of their age group. With a strong team and committed partners: the KJR is well equipped inside to tackle the challenges of the future!
