IT manager meeting in Freising: This is how digitization is promoted!

In an exciting exchange about the future of IT, this year's IT manager meeting of the Upper Bavarian district office offices took place in Freising. Safety solutions such as CISIS and IT basic protection base insurance were discussed in order to prepare themselves against cyber attacks. Innovative security concepts such as Siem (security and event management) and XDR (extended threat detection) were also discussed.

In addition, the introduction of an IT service management system (ITSM) was discussed in order to increase the efficiency of IT operation. The connection to the new Baykom2024 authorities network and organizational topics such as on call services were also on the agenda. The IT departments also support the specialist areas in specific projects, for example in connecting the health authorities to the telematics infrastructure for safe data exchange. The introduction of a new intranet and a learning management system for further training for employees was also discussed.
