Missed patient found in Erding!

A dramatic scenario developed on Monday afternoon when the police were alerted about a missing 64-year-old patient from the Erding Clinic. The man wandered around disoriented due to his state of health. A large contingent of rescue workers was immediately mobilized to find the helpless man in the urban area.

With an impressive contingent of search dog squadrons and even a drone, the emergency services combed the area without success. The tension grew when the sun underging and darkness started. But the desperate use finally paid off: At around 1:30 a.m., the crew of an ambulance discovered the missing person on a bike path near the junction to Salmannskirchen.

Many groups worked together: With 11 people and 3 dogs from FFW Pastettes, 9 people and 7 dogs from FFW Aschheim, 13 people and 6 dogs from FFW Hochbrück as well as a rescue dog squadron with 35 people and 20 dogs and finally 5 people from the FFW Altenerding who used a drone. The missing gentleman was safely brought back to the clinic and is well!
