Estinger volleyball: women celebrate derby victory, men are clearly subject
In the Fürstenfeldbruck district, there was an exciting derby in the volleyball Bavarian league, which the Estingen women were able to win. After the disappointing appearance of the men, who had to take a clear defeat, the women provided both themselves and fans for joy.
The male team of the Estinger volleyball players competed in the favorite ASV Dachau III and suffered a clear 0: 3 defeat, with the sentences ending with 24:26, 16:25 and 15:25. Coach Christian Vetrovsky was dissatisfied with the performance of his team, especially because of the lack of important regular players. The lack of Jonas Korilla, Felix Müller-Spanka and Jakob Sutka was serious, whereby the team was dependent on an inexperienced 17-year-old player, Bruno Nickel.
opposing superiority and dissatisfied coach
VETROVSKY said that the Dachauer came up with experienced and athletically superior players, against which his team was often without a chance. He was particularly annoyed by the performance of the referees, who, in his opinion, disadvantaged the Estinger. "Even the Dachauer turned to the side," he criticized the questionable decisions, which caused confusion, especially in the first set and demoralized his team.
In contrast, the Esing women's team strikes a completely different tactic. They returned from Eichenau with a convincing 3-0 win (25:23, 25:13, 25:23). While they initially had some difficulties in the first set and residues, the performance increased from set to sentence. Coach Florian Saller praised the improved block and field defense of his players. The debut appearance of the only 16-year-old Carolina Usko, who played from the start, is particularly positive.
Derby victory and positive assessments
Eichenau's team spokeswoman Larissa May analyzed her team's performance and admitted that one could not keep the pressure at the crucial moment of the game. "We had good access to the game in the first set and also led relatively long, but at the end we lacked the strength," she said. The defeat of the men and the victory of women leave the Estinger volleyball teams in a total of different emotional worlds.
For the Estingen women, this victory is a bright spot and offers promising perspectives for the upcoming games, while the men have to work on their performance in order to be successful again in the Bayern League. According to Saller, "may go on like this" and the fans are excited to see how the team will develop.
