Dachau 2037: New forecast model shows surprising population growth
A surprising population forecast for the city of Dachau is on the agenda! In 2037, only 58,948 people should live here - a significant decline compared to the previous estimate of 61,239 residents from 2020. The city currently has 48,337 inhabitants and the number of moves could decrease in the future. City Councilor Volker Koch (SPD) sees this development as an opportunity to achieve a “sensible braking” of growth, which is urgently needed, because fewer residents mean less pressure on schools and infrastructure!
particularly striking: With growth of around 34 percent by 2037, the southeast Dachhaus becomes the hotspots at the same time. In contrast, the “Social City of Dachau-Ost” partial with a lean increase of only nine percent fights. From 2019 to 2021, population growth even stagnated when only two new residents were added. Between 2013 and 2019, on the other hand, the population rose by impressive 4.15 percent annually, but after 2021 this trend went back to only 1.32 percent.
long -term prospects for the district
People have less purchasing power to manage rising rents in the surrounding area in Munich, which probably means that fewer immigrants come to Dachau. However, this unpredictable environment could soon turn the current forecast upside down! Buck up, because the developments in Dachau continue to promise excitement in the future!
