District swimming festival in Neustadt: A competition for young water lovers!
An exciting event is coming! On November 30th, the 51st district swimming festival will take place in the “Bademehr” family pool in Neustadt near Coburg. From 8 a.m., young swimmers from the city and district of Coburg can put their skills to the test. The event is open to children and young people born between 2008 and 2018, regardless of whether they are recreational swimmers or club professionals. It's all about having fun moving in the water!
After the competitions, the participants can fortify themselves in the “Bademehr” bistro and receive a certificate as a souvenir. There are also attractive prizes for the winners of the individual and relay competitions. Schools with the highest number of participants can look forward to a cash prize! Registration takes place via the schools or directly at the Coburg district office, the contact person is Julia Dünisch.
Important information for visitors
An important note for all bathers: On November 30th, the “Bademehr” family pool will be closed to regular bathing operations due to the district swimming festival. So be prepared and plan your visit accordingly!
