Grafenegger Advent: Tradition and solidarity in a festive atmosphere!

On December 6, 2024, the Grafenegger Advent was ceremoniously opened, an event that was particularly notable due to the presence of State Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner in the Grafenegg Auditorium. She explained: “For me, Advent is the most beautiful time of the year because we focus on customs and traditions.” These festivities run from December 5th to 8th, 2024 and offer a wide range of crafts, culinary delights, concerts and an entertaining family program. Mikl-Leitner emphasized that, especially in Lower Austria, togetherness and community cohesion are of great importance, as was particularly evident during the flood disaster. The Advent market in Grafenegg has been an important cultural institution since 1976, supported by ORF NÖ, and attracts many visitors. Managing director Simone Bamberg described the event as an annual highlight in Lower Austria's event calendar grafenegg.com reported.

For groups of 20 people or more, there is an offer of €8 per person, which also includes a free ticket for the tour guide and the bus driver. This regulation ensures that the journey goes smoothly, as buses are only allowed to stop at the visitor parking lot to let the guests off. The bus driver can then be directed to the bus parking lot, whereby a shuttle service is offered. Please note that entry tickets should be purchased in advance to avoid delays in entry, as mentioned in the invitation. Visitors are warmly invited to fully enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Grafenegger Advent and experience the traditions of the region while celebrating the pre-Christmas season at the same time.
