Fascination Limits: Reading and exhibition in the Villa Dessauer!

Konstantin Ferstl will read from his debut novel “The Blue Border” on January 12, 2025 at 3 p.m. The event takes place in the Villa Dessauer Stadtgalerie in Bamberg. Entry to the reading amounts to 14 EUR, including a drink that can be chosen from wine, beer, water or non -alcoholic beer. The novel "The Blue Border" is about Fidelis Lorentz, a composer who receives a call from his great love J. and then takes a trip to Pyongyang. During this trip, Fidelis reflects on his past and ancestors. Konstantin Ferstl, who was born in the Altmühltal and now lives in Hallertau and Munich, is not only an author, but also a film director and musician. Ferstl received the Munich literary scholarship for his debut novel.

In the show, 32 artists from the professional association of visual artists Upper Franconia deal with the concepts of borders in philosophical, political, social and personal dimensions. The works were created in the artist's dialogue with their personal means and techniques.
