Parents demand bus for after-school children: District Council discussed in ranks!

In the municipality of Rannungen, district of Bad Kissingen, an innovative solution to promote after -school children is currently being discussed. At a municipal council meeting, Mayor Fridolin Zehner (CSU) presented the request of many parents whose children attend primary school and the after -school care center in Poppenlauer. According to the parents, it is essential to introduce a small bus in order to efficiently bring the children to a bus stop from there. This would greatly reduce the variety of cars that unnecessarily use the route between Poppenlauer and ranks. An annual cost of around 11,000 euros is taken into account by the municipality, as is also reported by the Mainpost

The local council agreed to speak to the parents and to check possible alternatives, such as the use of regular bus lines, which could possibly be redirected. This commitment to a better solution is highlighted in the context of increasing demand for childcare places in the region, as highlighted on Kindergarten.info . In addition to the discussions about the promotion of after -school children, the search for suitable care offers for young families in ranks is also of great importance, since the range of places is often behind demand. Different pedagogical concepts and early childhood support play a central role.

The parents in the community endeavor to find a qualitative care for their children, be it in a kindergarten, a crèche or at nannies. This is supported by the very different alignment of the different facilities and the need to secure early childhood development opportunities. Parents are advised to take care of the awarding of childcare places at an early stage, to meet the challenges of everyday parenting.
