Record participation in Nikolauslauf: TSV Riedlingen shines in Tübingen!

Tübingen, Deutschland - In the north of Tübingen, the traditional Santa Claus run recently took place, which was already held for the 49th time. Over 2,200 participants fought through the freezing temperatures and the dry weather over the challenging route of 21.1 kilometers, which comprises almost 300 meters of altitude. TSV Riedlingen was represented with a strong team of eleven runners and was able to achieve impressive results. Particularly noteworthy is Jonas Haiß, who sensationally took the 7th place among the male starters in his debut in Tübingen, while his team -mate Heike Kley won 25th place in the women's age group. Chris Sommer set a personal best time with a time of 01:28 hours and secured a place in the top 20 of the age group M40.

The results prove that the participants showed a remarkable strength and competitiveness both of the TSV Riedlingen and TSV Reute. Team spirit and sporting ambition led to placements on the podium, as was evident in participating in the two significant running events. The TSV Riedlingen took 7th place in the team ranking of the Nikolauslauf and the runners of TSV Reute were also able to book proud placements in their respective age groups, while four of them came to the coveted podium.
