The Freiburg regional council has announced the large construction site, which provides a lot of joy - but only in the north! There, traffic continues with minimal restrictions.

But it gets tight to the south! From October 21st to November 21st, drivers are forced to adapt to a large -scale detour. "Drivers would not have understood if they drive between two freshly paved bridges on damaged topping," explains project manager Volker Hirt. He already has a team on site, ready to tackle the road between the renovated bridges. But the immediate work is Tricky, because the bridge over the K5753 remains closed on each side during the work.

The detour: an adventure for the drivers!

The detour leads via the B31 towards Geisingen, then right to the K5753, under the bridge and left onto Schaffhauser Straße (L181), which flows to the B27. A detour that costs time and strained the nerves! "We designed the security period of four weeks, but in good weather it could be faster," said Hirt. If the mild, dry weather lasts, the renovation could be completed even more quickly. Drivers, keep your eyes open - it could go faster than expected!
