Under optimal conditions, the runners competed in the city center of Rottweil, while the schools were strongly represented with 66 seasons and 382 children. Until the tradition of the Volksbank run, there is a growing enthusiasm that turns the first Sunday in October into a sporting festival every year. The Volksbank run traditionally started with a race from the Bambini, for which Georg Hauser and Ralf Banholzer were again used as moderators. After the last instructions, the little participants were ready and ran enthusiastically. While they were covered for 300 meters, they were cheered on by their families and spectators - a sight that warmed the hearts.

The route for the student graduates was also new. These now ran from Hochbrücktorstraße through various streets and back to Friedrichsplatz. The changes were very well received by the audience and the teachers. Uli Hertkorn, who works for TSV, announced that everything went smoothly and contributed the weather -related happiness to the successful event. This year the school relays were able to take place one and two parts-"The Blue Adler from TSV Rottweil" secured first place, followed by the Aura children of the Eichendorff School.

Numerous teams of teachers were enthusiastically involved in the main run, which led over a distance of 10 kilometers. The participation gave a colorful mix of experienced runners and hobby athletes. While the competitions were highly contested, the main run was not only used for victory; Many runners found motivation in each other and in the team spirit. Particularly noteworthy are the inclusion relays that received extra recognition for their positive spirit.

The audience was there from start to finish, clapped, cheered and cheered on the runners, including creative participants such as the building perfection and the fire brigade relay. The participants of the city administration and the season of WSS actively advise in chic clothing made their sporty contribution. From around 12.45 p.m. the last athletes finally ran to the finish line, and Friedrichsplatz became the stage for the award ceremony, which was the crowning glory of this successful event.
