An exciting match day in the Alb district league caused excitement and unexpected twists! SSC Tübingen, who had been unbeaten until then, suffered their first defeat of the season on matchday 14. TSG Tübingen II shocked the leaders with a 2-1 win. Fabian Leitenberger gave the guests the lead in the first half, followed by Manuel Kramm, who increased the score to 2-0. Joschka Kralewski scored the late goal, but TSG defended their lead brilliantly.

But that wasn't the only drama of the day! In the pursuit duel, TSV Genkingen prevailed against TSV Hirschau 3-2. Jan-Luca Ebinger opened the scoring for Genkingen before Hirschau equalized through Daniel Genuardi. Dominik Früh and Alex Holder increased the score to 3-1, but Adrian Müller caused a thrill in stoppage time when he reduced the score again. Genkingen remains level on points with SSC Tübingen at the top of the table.

Last minute decisions and surprises

The game between Wurmlingen and Metzingen was another highlight of the day. Phil Brunnenmiller gave Wurmlingen an early lead, but Metzingen equalized through Telmo Teixeira-Rebelo. In dramatic injury time, Jonas Neu scored the decisive goal to make it 2-1 for Wurmlingen. An important home win for the hosts!

In other games, Pfullingen showed a strong performance against Reutlingen and won 4-2, while Eningen came back from a deficit against SGM Altingen/Entringen and won the game 3-1. Gomaringen also surprised with a clear 5-0 win against Ofterdingen, and Pfrondorf secured an important home win against Zainingen thanks to a brace from Max Höcketstaller. So the tension in the league remains high!
