Waiblingen and basket: 100,000 euros for a strong democracy partnership!

In a courageous step against extremism, the city of Waiblingen and the neighboring community Korb launched a "partnership for democracy"! If everything goes according to plan, the federal government will provide over 100,000 euros next year to support this initiative. Waiblingen itself plans to contribute a smaller amount of 7,000 to 8,000 euros to secure the implementation of these important projects.

A central component of this partnership is the creation of a three-quarters of staffing at the district youth ring, which will be responsible for the coordination of the activities. This position will make a decisive contribution to organizing the various projects and events that are to be funded with a budget of 40,000 to 50,000 euros. Associations and local groups will have the opportunity to participate in these initiatives and thus actively contribute to strengthening democracy.
