A new star in the political sky! Kai-Achim Clare, the dynamic mayor of Rust, was elected chairman of the regional association of southern Upper Rhine! At an exciting meeting in the Offenburg district office, clear impressive 49 out of 75 votes received and thus clearly prevailed against his competitor Martin Rupp, who received only 26 votes. Clare, which has been running the helm in Rust since 2014 and has been working as an Ortenau district council since 2019, brings 15 years of experience in the regional association.

"I look forward to representing the interests of our region in this new role!" Explained Klarine full of enthusiasm.
