Knife attack at Feldkircher Bahnhof: seriously injured after a dispute!

Feldkirch, Österreich - On Thursday at around 5 p.m. there was a drastic knife attack at the train station in Feldkirch. A 21-year-old man from Baden-Württemberg stabbed a 46-year-old Turkish citizen with a knife in the stomach after a dispute over a mobile phone escalated. The attacker and the victim had met to hand over the cell phone, but there were disagreements about his whereabouts, which finally ended in a violent conflict, as the Vorarlberg police reported.

The attack was brutal: the 46-year-old was seriously but not life-threatening and had to be operated on in the hospital immediately. The suspect initially fled to the city center, but was arrested after a quick commitment from the police near the crime scene. Both men are Turkish citizens, which gives the incident an additional dimension. The investigation into the exact background of the dispute is ongoing and the 21-year-old is currently being interrogated how Vol.at reported.
