The talented brothers Edgar and Jérémie Moreau appear in the auditorium of the old university and take the audience on a fascinating journey through time through the masterpieces for cello and piano. Edgar Moreau, an outstanding cellist who was already shining at the international Tchaikowski competition in Moscow at the age of 17, is accompanied by his brother, equally talented pianist Jérémie Moreau. The two artists are not only siblings, they are also musical children!
The concert begins with the Gambsonata by J.S. Bach and continues to the famous "Arpeggione" sonata by Franz Schubert. The duo then brings Norway's sounds to the stage with Edvard Griegs Celle sonata before crowning the evening with Sergej Prokofiev's unique cello sonata. But that's not all! Under the exciting title "+ 7 minutes", the audience awaits a short, informative excursion about the fascinating background and bizarre anecdotes of the pieces.
