Anticipation is simmering on Lake Constance! Brothers Thomas and Stephan Vogt are in the middle of preparations for the eagerly awaited winter village, which opens its gates on Friday, November 15th. Despite the foggy cold, people are working hard to get huts, fireplaces and heaters ready for visitors. The opening party will be a real highlight with the band Andixie, who will be playing pop and folk rock from 5:30 p.m.!
The winter village is always open on Fridays from 4 p.m., Saturdays from 1 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m., with a grand finale at 10 p.m. “We have put together some highlights,” promises Thomas Vogt, building anticipation. On Friday, December 6th, Daniela Katzenberger's ex-stepfather, Peter Klein, will be on stage with his then-affair Yvonne Woelke. Both emphasize that they are just good friends as they provide musical accompaniment to the Santa Claus party.
A program full of surprises
The winter village promises a varied program! Radio DJ Matze Ihring will rock the winter parties on November 16th and December 13th, while the fanfare from Friedrichshafen on December 7th will ensure a festive atmosphere. The talented Aileen Sager, semi-finalist in “Deutschland sucht den Superstar 2023”, will also be inviting you to the Schlager Christmas on December 21st.
For those who like it hotter, there will be rockabilly rhythms on November 29th and December 20th. Physical well-being is also taken care of: strawberry and orange-ginger mulled wine, mulled gin, children's punch and many delicacies await the guests. The winter village will be bigger and better than ever before, with a permanently installed umbrella bar and plenty of heating options to banish the cold.
The Vogt brothers see their winter village as a valuable addition to the city's Christmas market. The “Bodensee Christmas” with over 60 stands starts on November 29th and promises a celebration for the whole family. After the success of the public viewing during the 2022 World Cup, the brothers have decided to create an atmosphere in winter too. An unforgettable experience at Lake Constance is about to begin!
