Handball revolution: This is how the Achalm-Nagold district is changing!

A significant change is in the handball of the Achalm-Nagold district, as Eberhard Gloger, Chairman since 2016, explains. From July 1, 2025, this traditional district will be dissolved in order to take into account the new requirements of the association reform. In the course of this reform, the currently 14 districts in Württemberg are reduced to only 8, which not only brings logistical challenges, but also far -reaching changes for the affected clubs. "The new districts will be based primarily along the highways," said Gloger. This could play far -reaching consequences for the journey and have the organization in the youth field, since the qualifications are not yet complete.

The restructuring affects the membership in particular: 12 associations of the previous district are assigned to the new Neckar-Alb district, while another 12 move to the Bodensee-Neckar district. A big loss for Achalm-Nagold will be the HSG Böblingen-Sindelfingen, which so far operated in the center of the district and will play in the Neckar-Alb district in the future. These changes present those responsible for the clubs with new challenges, as Gloger underlined in a conversation with Regio TV.
