Brahms masterpieces: benefit concert in the Zeppelin University!
A multifaceted benefit concert is just around the corner that pianist and choir director Jürgen Jakob has again organized. After the success of the last six “long nights of chamber music”, in which he was able to transfer a total of between 3,000 and 4,000 euros to the Bodensee children's hospice service, he would like to make a valuable contribution this year too. Thanks to the freeness of all contributors and Jakob's personal willingness to bear the costs for hall rental, flyers and poster, the event will be another highlight for the region.
This year's edition of the "Long Night of Chamber Music" will take place on October 12th in the Graf von Soden Forum of the ZF Campus in Fallenbrunnen 3. The move from the previous location, the Graf-Zeppelin-Haus, had become necessary because you can look forward to a stylish Steinway wing that Jakob selected years ago. The Zeppelin University gave a friendly support with the orientation, which made this change easier.
an impressive program
For the upcoming concert, Jürgen Jakob has set up a varied program that focuses on Johannes Brahms' chamber music. Brahms is estimated as a composer whose works are consistently high. The piano quintet op. 34, which will be heard in full length, should be mentioned in particular. The audience also expects sonatas No. 1 and No. 2, which are performed with a flute or a violin, as well as piano. The piano trio H major op. 8 opens the evening on creative Wijze and is accompanied by a soprano and tenor saxophone.
Another highlight are the variations on a topic of Schumann op. 23, which Jakob will play together with Elisa Ringlich. The young soprano Anjulie Hartrampf, who will certainly provide enthusiasm for the audience with the gypsy songs, will certainly cause enthusiasm among the audience. Anjulie recently completed her Bachelor in Feldkirch and is facing the master's degree, which makes the appearances all the more important.
The evening also promises an excellent attunement to the Brahms Requiem, which Jakob performed together with Hartrampf, Hermann Locher, the Kresscendo Choir and the "Ensemble Minifacture" in Kressbronn. For this purpose, an excerpt from the requiem, the sixth sentence "Because we have no lasting instead", will be heard during the long night. The entire program is designed in such a way that it is both demanding and accessible to all music lovers.
Preparations for the event are always a challenge, says Jakob. "It is often difficult to find an appointment with the musicians because they are active in different orchestras and are very busy. But we are now a well -coordinated team that is looking forward to the next performance every time."
With a generous admission price of "Frei, donations desired", the organizers hope that both the music lovers and the supporters will appear in large numbers. The start of the event is at 7 p.m. and the end is planned for 11 p.m.
The "Long Night of Chamber Music" not only offers an exquisite idea of classical music, but also helps to support the important children's hospice service Bodensee. The combination of high art and social Engagement makes this event a special experience for everyone involved and listeners. For more details, See the current reporting at www.schwaebische.de .
