In Linz, the new McDonald's branch in Kleinmünchen opened its doors on December 17, 2024 and primarily attracts drivers. The restaurant wants to significantly reduce waiting times with an innovative double drive-in that offers two entrances for quicker ordering. For the first time in Austria, the restaurant uses the “Human Comfort” design, which combines warm and modern elements with a minimalist approach. Offering a comfortable fast food experience with ten large self-service ordering displays and 182 seats, including 52 on the patio. The opening has created around 50 new jobs, which McDonald's highlights as a positive sign for the region.
