In the Wernberg gallery in the municipal area of Wernberg, the fascinating exhibition "Slow Photography - Visibility through Photography" by the talented photographer Bernd Großeck, which is to be admired until March 31, 2025. Großeck shows us through his passion for minimalist landscape and reportage photography in an impressive way how to perceive the beauty in the details of nature and the interaction with people. At a time that is characterized by speed, he calls on the viewers to learn the conscious vision and to feel the stories of his pictures instead of just perceiving them fleetingly, as click-Carinthia reported.
intensive photography with regional reference
The photography of Grossken is not only an art form, but also an invitation to immerse yourself in the world of “slow photography” - a kind of photography that requires time and patience. During his photo expeditions in the region at Damtschach Castle and in Wernberg, he took impressive shots that tell deeply rooted stories. The exhibition also includes award -winning works that were highlighted in renowned international competitions, including the "Monochrome Awards" and the "Tokyo Photo Awards".
In addition to the exhibition, we also present the impressive biography of Verena Frensch, an artist who lives and works in Munich. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and is known for her work in various renowned exhibitions. Her studies in Karlsruhe for visual communication and its numerous awards, including the BSI Design Award, show her creative talent and the variety of her artistic work. Like Grossenck, Frensch contributes to the living art scene in Bavaria and makes its contribution to contemporary art.
The combination of Großenck's thoughtful photography and Frensch's artistic career reflects the dynamics and wealth of contemporary art that is currently blooming in our region, and invites art lovers to establish a deeper connection to the works and their stories
