The FPÖ's Political Ash Wednesday will take place in Ried im Innkreis on March 5, 2025. The event will be led by Herbert Kickl, the federal party's club chairman, and Manfred Haimbuchner, the state party chairman. The doors of the Jahnturnhalle (Friedrich-Thurner-Straße 8, 4910 Ried im Innkreis) open at 5:30 p.m., while the official start is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Journalists are warmly invited, provided they accredit themselves by February 27, 2025 at 12 p.m. For TV editorial teams, additional accreditation for camera teams is required to secure suitable parking spaces, such as ots.at reported.
Press accreditation in the German Bundestag
Special press accreditation is required for journalists who want to report from the German Bundestag. The federal government's statutory annual accreditation is not sufficient. Currently valid press cards can only be issued by certain associations, including the German Journalists' Association and the German Journalists' Union. Further information, such as the opening times of the ID card office in Berlin, can be found on the German Bundestag website. Loss of the accreditation card must be reported immediately, as stated bundestag.de is noted.
