Council of Ministers meeting: Government meets in Vienna tomorrow!
The next meeting of the Federal Government's Council of Ministers will take place on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the Federal Chancellery in Vienna. This session will discuss crucial issues affecting the country's current challenges. The press foyer after the meeting is planned for around 12:00 p.m. and offers an opportunity for journalists to receive information directly from the responsible federal ministers. Participants in the press foyer include Federal Minister Korinna Schumann, Federal Minister Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer and Federal Minister Christoph Wiederkehr. This reports OTS.
Journalists and media representatives who would like to attend the meeting should be aware that entry to the press foyer is possible from 11:15 a.m. However, access to the Federal Chancellery may be affected by construction sites. From 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. access via the upper part of Löwelstrasse is not possible, which is why a diversion via Herrengasse, Bankgasse and Petrarcagasse is recommended. The descent, however, is only possible via Schaufflergasse.
Press information and conditions of participation
Access authorization is required to enter the Federal Chancellery. Journalists need a permanent access card, a valid press card or a current letter of credit from their editorial team. The Federal Chancellery also offers a photo service, which is available at fotoservice.bundeskanzleramt.at. For those who cannot follow the meeting in person, a live stream of the press foyer will be available on the website www.bundeskanzleramt.gv.at/live. This information complements the advice from previous Ministerial Council meetings and underlines the trust in the government's transparent communication, as well OTS has reported.
With this organizational information, the Federal Chancellery once again aims to ensure smooth and effective communication between the government and the media. The Council of Ministers is an important authority for making decisions that directly affect the Austrian population.
