He was a father of three and rewarded the FH Wiener Neustadt with his tireless commitment, which made the institution a pioneer in innovative education and practice-oriented research. Mayor Klaus Schneeberger emphasized Erlacher's great achievements: "Over the last decade, he has made incredibly great contributions to the educational location of Wiener Neustadt in general and the university of applied sciences in particular."
