Strong minds for Vienna: ÖVP goes into the election with diversity!

The Vienna People's Party is presenting an impressive team of candidates for the upcoming Vienna elections, which will take place on April 27th. The list is headed by Karl Mahrer, who enjoys the clear support of his party despite recent controversies, namely the so-called Wienwert case. Mahrer emphasizes the diversity and expertise of his team, which consists of experienced politicians and representatives from different professional groups and districts. “We urgently want to change Vienna,” explains Mahrer, who advocates meeting the city’s challenges with a fresh political approach OTS reports.

A strong team for Vienna

The top candidates include Kasia Greco, WKO Vice President, who is in second place and is committed to strong economic policy. In third place is Harald Zierfuß, who focuses on youth and education: “We guarantee that every child born in Vienna can speak German when they start school.” Ingrid Korosec, who is fourth in the election, highlights the quality of life for older generations. Security spokesman Hannes Taborsky also calls for tackling the highest unemployment rate in Austria and has concrete plans to make Vienna a more attractive place to live, such as MyDistrict reported.

Mahrer announced that the Vienna People's Party was the only bright spot in the political spectrum to combat the SPÖ's stagnating policies, which he described as outdated. The list already has 30 candidates and shows a clear commitment to the middle of society. “We are the party of solutions,” he explains. The Vienna People's Party is going into the election with a determined team in the hope of regaining the trust of voters and bringing a breath of fresh air into Viennese politics.
