In the coming days the weather will be varied and will be characterized by summery temperatures in some regions. Loud Cosmo Today, Thursday, May 29, 2025, will be accompanied by a cloudy sky in the west, north and east. Intermittent rainfall is to be expected there, occurring all day long from the Tyrolean lowlands to the Vienna Woods. Away from the mountainous regions, however, there are also easing effects with occasional sunshine and individual showers from cumulus clouds.
In the south and southeast of the country it will remain mostly sunny and dry, while a moderate to brisk wind will blow from the west to northwest. Temperatures range between 7 and 14 degrees in the morning, while during the day they rise to between 15 and 23 degrees.
Outlook for the weekend
For Friday, dense remaining clouds are expected in the eastern half of the country and rain showers in the mountains. However, longer sunny periods can be expected during the day, especially in the western parts of the country. Temperatures are rising again, with highs between 19 and 29 degrees.
On Saturday the sky will be full of sunshine in the morning hours. However, spring clouds are expected to form over mountains and hilly areas, with the chance of precipitation remaining low. Temperatures will be between 24 and 30 degrees, indicating a hot day.
Sun is forecast for Sunday and the first rain showers in Vorarlberg and parts of Tyrol in the morning. This precipitation spreads over large parts of Germany during the day and increases the risk of thunderstorms in mountainous regions. Temperatures will reach highs between 24 and 32 degrees, with the east of the country recording the highest values.
Weather situation in Germany
However, Sunday night will be accompanied by violent thunderstorms and sometimes heavy rain, while on Sunday itself the risk of thunderstorms will increase in many regions, with daily maximums of 22 to 27 degrees. There will also be changing weather conditions on Monday, characterized by, among other things, thicker clouds and heavy showers in the south.
According to the forecasts, a stable weather trend is expected for the period from June 5th to 7th, where a calming of the weather could occur, although slight instability remains in the north.
Overall, it can be seen that the weather models in both Austria and Germany predict a transition from wet to hot summer temperatures. A meeting of sun, clouds and precipitation brings the necessary variety to the weather and ensures an exciting weather week.
