Advent wreaths from Gießhübl: tradition meets creative student handwriting!

The Gießhübl technical school is all about festive preparations: Over the past few weeks, students at the school have been enthusiastically making Advent wreaths to celebrate the upcoming Christmas season. As part of a celebratory ceremony, Director Thomas Krenn presented two of these lovingly designed wreaths to State Councilor for Education Christiane Teschl-Hofmeister. This emphasized the cultural significance of the Advent wreath, which with its four candles symbolizes the coming of the “light of the world”. “The Advent wreath brings peace and reflection into the hectic pre-Christmas period,” continued Teschl-Hofmeister, while praising the craftsmanship of the students, who can gain valuable experience through this tradition OTS reported.
