According to Achleitner, around 10,000 euros per person, which means a total of around 3 million euros, means that the foundation is financed by the country and the labor market service (AMS), which means a total of around 3 million euros. The first admission should be possible from January, whereby the foundation will be opened not only for KTM, but also for other companies across Upper Austria, as ooe.orf reported.

help for those affected

The impending dismissals shake the region and throw a shadow on the economic environment. The insolvency foundation aims to offer the released employees up to four years of support and to promote their professional reintegration. This procedure is a clear step to counteract the effects of KTM insolvency and to ensure financial security in an insecure time. The initiative shows how important it is not only to secure direct employment, but also to create long -term perspectives for those affected. In view of the massive layoffs, it remains to be seen how the situation will develop. But the employees concerned can hope for the support of the insolvency foundation, as it is Volksblatt reported.
