An important transition in the 10th Vienna district has occurred: the church "three times wonderful Our Lady" and the adjacent rectory were sold to a private individual. The Archdiocese of Vienna announced today that the rectory will be used for residential and office purposes in the future, while the listed church should serve as a studio. The sale is the result of an over ten -year process in which the financing problem and alternative uses for the rectory were discussed intensively, since the number of believers in the parish has decreased drastically, as the parish of divine mercy, to which the church belongs. The parish church "Three Wonderful Our Lady" has an eventful story that goes back to the First World War. The area was originally in the 10th district of Vienna under the direction of only two parishes that looked after around 160,000 Catholics. However, the construction of a full church could not be realized due to the financial circumstances, which ultimately led to a stages of church building.
