They also evaluated crime statistics and came to the conclusion that the state government's concept of favoring large establishments is considered wrong. The initiative finds itself in a difficult situation due to its advance.

In the Ludwigsburg region, residents are also mobilizing against the planned refugee accommodation. A citizens' initiative organized a vote on the development of the Schanzacker Focus reported. This vote took place in Tamm and Asperg, where ballot papers could be cast at four locations. The citizens' initiative reported an overwhelming response with at least 3,400 ballot papers and distributed 10,000 flyers in the region. The ballots contained ten questions, including support for the creation of a Lea and public safety issues. Initial counts showed that the majority of voters supported the initiative's position.

Citizen participation and support through local politics

Since there was no official citizen survey, the initiative sees the vote as their answer. The vote took place in the Kelter in Tamm, which served as the center of the action. The initiative also received support from the mayors of Tamm and Asperg. The creation of a Lea for 2,000 to 2,500 people is currently being examined, with results not expected before spring 2025.
