In a bizarre incident, an American tourist wanted to drive from Seefeld to Lottensee at midday, but followed his navigation device on a completely wrong route. Instead of on the intended road, he ended up on the cross-country ski trail “B3 – Wildmoos See”, where he drove about 550 meters to a point where his vehicle got stuck in the fresh snow. Alarmed cross-country skiers immediately informed the Seefeld police, who finally activated a snow groomer to rescue and tow away the stuck car.
