Every euro spent on tickets and many other products earns one point - with exceptions, including the climate ticket or the advantage card.

Anyone who reaches 100 “VorZUG points” has the opportunity to receive different rewards that change annually. Starter bonuses include a free seat reservation, which normally costs 3 euros, a hot drink in the on-board bistro or various vouchers worth 5 or 10 euros. Particularly enthusiastic travelers who have a climate ticket can even look forward to double points for reservations and trips abroad. From 800 points onwards you get an additional “gold rail” status with exclusive benefits.

Claims for compensation

An additional interesting offer concerns the punctuality of the trains. How klimaticket.at reported, ticket holders are entitled to compensation if the train's punctuality falls below 93% within a month. The compensation amounts to up to 10% of the ticket price and can be claimed once a year.
