Since December 20, 2024, commuters in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) have been experiencing massive rail chaos! Deutsche Bahn has begun a comprehensive modernization of the tracks between Cologne and Bonn, which will last until the end of February 2025. The RB48 and RB26 lines are particularly affected, some of which will be completely canceled.
