New knowledge pool in Austria: use opportunities for women at work

Laimgrubengasse 10, 1060 Wien, Österreich - On December 2, 2024, the new online knowledge pool from FairplusService was launched, which offers companies and employees in Austria extensive support. This innovative platform provides various (self-learning) tools for further training free of charge, especially for formally low-qualified employees. With the project toolbox, companies and employees can access current information on equality and funding opportunities, such as ots.at . The offers include workshops, manuals and materials on topics such as coping with stress and communication.

funding and equality landscape

A central element of this platform is the funding and equality map, which offers an overview of numerous support offers, including national and EU funding programs. This information is aimed specifically at companies that want to support their employees in the low -wage area, since many of them earn less than 1,460 euros gross per month. Gudrun Koban, project manager at Fairplus Service, emphasizes the importance of this platform for equal opportunities and professional support: "With the knowledge pool, we have created a unique platform that not only provides information, but also specifically supports companies and employees in their further development."

The program is implemented by the ÖSB Consulting in cooperation with ABF*Austria, Update Training and ÖSB Social Innovation by November 2028 and is mainly active in the areas of gastronomy, retail, cleaning as well as textile and food production. The health and social sector is also supported. Due to the development of new perspectives and skills, employees should not only stabilize their professional career, but also actively contribute to equality on the labor market, such as FairplusService.at . Ulrike Losmann-Hartl, head of the Diversity Equity Inclusion project group, emphasizes that the platform is a pioneering tool for optimal use of funding opportunities.
