Support for families: Donation to the children's hospice network in Vienna

Vienna shows heart! Managing Director Thomas Gruber presented a generous check to the on behalf of his workforce today “Children’s hospice network” on Meidlinger Hauptstrasse. For over 20 years, this facility has been supporting children with life-limiting illnesses and offering support to their families during the most difficult times, from diagnosis through to the loss of a child. Gruber emphasized the immense importance of this work for affected families and also thanked the employees who took part in this fundraising campaign.

Bilingualism in focus

As Vienna works to support suffering families, a new podcast highlights the challenges of bilingualism in children. A recent episode debunks the myth that only the OPOL method (One Parent One Language) is the key to growing up multilingual. The linguist explains that there are also many other successful methods that are suitable for different family structures. This rigid OPOL strategy can often be impractical, especially for children growing up bilingually, where one parent speaks several languages.
