Fatal traffic accident: Bielefeld woman dies on the B1 in Lippe!

A 48-year-old driver from Bielefeld was fatally injured in a traffic accident on the B1 in Linien, Lippe district, on Friday, December 27, 2024. The tragic accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on the Strothetal Bridge near Kohlstädt.

The woman from Bielefeld was driving her Skoda Fabia towards Paderborn when she collided with an oncoming Volvo. She died at the scene, while the driver of the Volvo was taken to hospital with injuries. In addition, two occupants of a Polo that hit the Volvo were also injured. To clarify the circumstances of the accident, a traffic accident investigation team from the Bielefeld police and an expert were called in.
