After more than 48 years of service to Sparkasse Rietberg, Elke Oesterwiemann has said goodbye. As the New Westphalian reported, Oesterwiemann completed her training at the Sparkasse in 1979 and began her career in the former Rietberg headquarters in the city center. In 2003 she moved to the office on Bahnhofstrasse and ultimately worked as office manager for over 22 years.

Particularly noteworthy is her close relationship with customers, who placed great trust in her. Gerold Momann, a member of the Sparkasse board, thanked Oesterwiemann for her many years of work and wished her all the best in her retirement. Andy Schröder, head of the private customers division, praised the Sparkasse's local roots and the personal customer service that took place under Oesterwiemann's leadership. Kathrin Eusterbrock and Katharina Stroop, both natives of Rietberg and who have held managerial positions at the Sparkasse for many years, will now take over the future management of the Rietberg headquarters.

Honor for services to the board of directors

In addition, Elke Oesterwiemann was recognized for her services on the board of directors of Sparkasse Rietberg. According to a report by the SPD Rietberg Four members of the Board of Directors were honored by the Westphalia-Lippe Savings Bank Association. Mayor Andreas Sunder, Chairman of the Board of Directors, presented the honors. Oesterwiemann was a member of the board of directors for 15 years, including five years as a deputy member, and was also active on the staff council.

The other honored members are Christiane Schneiders, who has served on the board for 20 years; Jürgen Don, who has been a full member since November 1999 and is currently second deputy; as well as Dr. Michael Orlob, who has also been on the board of directors since November 1999. Sparkasse board member Heinz Hüning congratulated on behalf of all employees and praised the reliable work of the honorees.
