Ray Cokes became known primarily in the 90s through the TV show "MTV’s Most Wanted", which was broadcast on MTV Europe from 1992 to 1995 and became the most popular formats of the station. This program offered live music performances, competitions and interactions with the spectators. The last episode of "MTV’s Most Wanted" included an appearance by the band The Cure, in which Cokes played guitar, and guests like Björk and Bono from U2 performed.
