Pischeldorf, Österreich - On March 28, 2025, the 146th annual general meeting of the Pischeldorf volunteer fire brigade took place, in which commander Gottfried Duller took a detailed balance of the activities in 2024. As part of this meeting, Duller reported a total of 52 missions, including a remarkable premiere: for the first time, members of the fire brigade Pischeldorf were also active outside of Carinthia, more precisely in Lower Austria, with a disaster.

The training and further education of the 148 members have had a high priority. The fire brigade Pischeldorf completed 15 courses at the State Fire Brigade School in Klagenfurt last year, which supports the continuous development of the emergency services.

An important event is already pending: the district performance competitions of the Klagenfurt-Land district and Klagenfurt-city took place on June 8, 2024 on the sports field in Rottenstein. 40 competition groups took part in this competition in the age category of the active, and 75 young people were active in individual competitions and 25 youth groups in group competitions.

There were remarkable placements for the youth groups, including Emma Neubauer from FF Ottmanach Bronze A in the individual rating. The next big competition, the state competition, will take place on June 22nd in St. Veit an der Glan.
