In addition to these logistical challenges, employees are faced with legal issues, particularly at the end of the year. Like that Law Forum explains, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are not public holidays in Germany, meaning that employees are usually required to work on these days unless they have been approved for vacation. In light of the festive holidays, it is crucial to be informed about both waste disposal and labor law and to act in a timely manner.
