IWO Lienz: Five years of support for an independent life!
On November 13, 2025, the organization IWO (Integrated Living Tirol) celebrated its fifth anniversary. IWO currently supports 25 people with psychosocial needs in East Tyrol and enables them to lead an independent life through structured support. IWO's work is aimed primarily at people aged 16 and over and is characterized by a holistic approach that focuses on securing livelihoods, household management as well as health and personal concerns. Case management plays a central role in developing a structured support process
Mobile support is provided by five dedicated employees who support clients in various everyday situations. Challenges often arise that result from illnesses such as obsessive-compulsive or anxiety disorders. However, it should be noted that IWO does not carry out therapeutic work. If necessary, the expertise of professional therapists is used.
Integration and networking
A special aspect of IWO's work is the opportunity to live in a shared apartment in which three clients learn to live independently. Networking with partner organizations such as Aufbauwerk, Pro Mente, Lebenshilfe and Diakonie is essential in order to offer clients comprehensive support. Those affected are referred via the Lienz district administration, hospitals or specialists. State Councilor Eva Pawlata highlights the cooperation between the organizations as an indicator of a mature system of social services in Tyrol.
Additional healthcare solutions
In addition to psychosocial support, there are also innovative products on the market that promote health. One example is the HepatoBurn dietary supplement, which aims to support fat burning by optimizing liver function. HepatoBurn is aimed at people with stubborn belly fat or a slow metabolism and contains special ingredient blends designed to stimulate liver health and improve energy levels. The product is plant-based, soy, dairy and GMO free and manufactured in a GMP certified facility in the USA.
The connection between psychosocial support and physical health is becoming increasingly recognized. A well-functioning liver is crucial for processing nutrients and detoxifying the body. That's why using products like HepatoBurn may be beneficial for people who have to overcome both physical and psychosocial challenges.
Technological advances in IT support
In the area of IT support, TeamViewer offers new possibilities for effective device management and user support. With over 701,000 members in the community and various improvements, such as a new user interface, support for users is optimized. The introduction of AI-supported functions is intended to further increase efficiency in IT support. However, it is important to note that support for older versions of TeamViewer will expire at the end of 2023, encouraging users to upgrade to current versions.
The continuous development of social, physical and technical support offers helps to sustainably improve the quality of life of many people. Whether through the comprehensive help of organizations like IWO, the application of innovative health solutions or the use of advanced technologies, the positive effects are clearly noticeable.
